Just dropping a quick line here on the main landing page to let you know that we have a new page on the site – for the new Bat Atlas (affectionately known as the Batlas) Project.   It represents the aims of the Bat Group to put together a comprehensive atlas of the bats of Birmingham and the Black Country.  It will include all existing data on EcoRecord, plus new data from targeted surveys, MSc projects, info from recent work at the University of Birmingham, and records held by friends groups, local rangers and local natural history groups.  We’re very excited, and hope that you’ll keep coming back to the site for updates.  We expect the project to run over the next 5 years or so, and there will be lots going on!

Morgan 🙂
